Hi all we're both innoculated to within an inch of our lives, and have only 3 weeks to go. still have another 2 rounds to go with the nurse at the travel clinic - then thats it! i don't care if i catch rabies! (well i do really! )
hope you all have a great xmas and new year and get to our party - don't forget to bring a bottle - and i don't mean ketchup!)
we will probably not have an opportunity to update this blog spot from kathmandu so this is what we will be up to in january.
9th January 2010 -fly out to Kathmandu
10th - 18th start the trek up to pokhara and around the anapurna region
19th - arrive at Chitwan wildlife sanctuary
21st - arrive back in Kathmandu
23rd - set off up the Everest Valley
4th February - arrive back into Kathmandu
by which point we will have blisters on our verrucas and some pretty amazing pictures!
Pete will have a strange odour of yaks - but he does normally anyway -so who knows!
we are starting the trek with only 2 other people so god help their ears!
Anita - we love you for making this possible and just make sure those wild parties aren't too wild!

Hello, is this thing on?
One, two, two, two, one two,
Here we go! welcome to the blog for our world tour 2010! By the way, If you're a burglar reading this, we have a massive dog left at home who was cast out by the Russian army for being too vicious, so don't even think about it.
Hopefully we will get the chance to update this over the next year as often as possible, to record all the wonderful details of our trip, like, how many times we have had the three bob bits; how many days Pete can go without changing his underpants, and which bars we have watched the City matches in. Im sure there will be some interseting stuff in there too like the views from the Himalays and the sunsets over the Andes. So stay tuned for more exiting episodes. Next week, how sore will our a**** be after our vacinations! (is that arms or something else, just to fox you!)
p.s. anyone know how to change the time on this thing? its all over the gaff.
