Just a quick note to wish everyone a happy new year, we hope you all had a good time. We started the new year in traditional fashion - with a massive hangover, followed by turkey butties. I think that is the last of it now, no, wait, just realised there is some more in the freezer. lovely.
Anyway, just over a week to go before we set off. The excitement and nerves have set in and we just want to get it started now. We have got most of the essentials we will need but there are still a few bits to acquire, so will be hitting the January sales again next week.
A quick message to Jonny Cahm if he is reading, I have decided against purchasing your rucksack, but many thanks for the offer. I love the fact your still only wanted £20 for it. I have known Jonny for about 10 years and whether its a wetsuit, guitar amp or football boots, he only ever charges £20. The man is impervious to inflation, which makes me wonder....am I getting a good deal now, or has he been ripping me off for the last 10 years? I will drop it back off with you next week.
